Merced River in Winter

Of all the American landscapes that Ansel Adams immortalized through his images, Yosemite was the most deeply personal.

So, this is no Ansel Adams masterpiece. But this winter scene of the Merced River at the base of Half Dome was certainly inspired by the legend. A frosty. misty morning in Yosemite National Park.
