Why we love this photo

This is an image from a beautiful wedding at the Park Hyatt Tokyo. Wedding photography is very conservative here in Japan. There is not the range of styles that you find overseas. Japanese wedding photography tends to be very posed. And very directed. It's about having every detail perfect. But this couple came to us wanting a more photojournalistic and relaxed style which is very unusual here. We love this because it's so Tokyo. A Tokyo taxi. The two of them trying to be themselves and show a more authentic story. And we love it, because we know what's going on behind the scenes. With the Wedding team panicking that there's a taxi in the way of the couple! We adore Japan. And breaking wedding rules (in a VERY respectful way) always makes us smile.
